As for pros and cons, be aware that this shirt is excellent for summertime heat, but you’ll definitely want to consider a base layer if you’re fishing in the winter.

Thanks for stopping by. As you say the shirt is great to reduce heat and that is what it was produced to do, keep us cool in the summer.
Personally I would opt instead for a micro fleece base layer and mid layer with a waterproof top layer if going out in winter. Then again there is nothing to say it cant be used as an over-shirt on dryer days through the winter months.

Hey Marty most of the colors are pastel shades in the ladies shirts. The men’s version does have a lot of more colors however.

We don’t really follow proper sunscreen protocols when being outdoors all the time. We get used to the heat, our skin turns golden or dark and we think we are safe but the sun is doing damage that we cannot see and cumulatively over the years can add on years to our appearance.
The shirts are classically sized so pretty standard in the sizing but going by the reviews if a girl is curvy a bigger size than normal is probably wise.

I hear you Adam we take too many risks out in the sun. Not enough thought goes into protection and living in countries where the sun is really strong that thought also needs to go into the clothing we are wearing.
